Joelson, a leading London-based law firm, has acted for Charlie Kerr and the management team of With Intelligence on the company’s strategic sale to S&P Global, valued at $1.8 billion.

With Intelligence, a leading provider of investment intelligence solutions that support fundraising in public and private markets, serves around 3,000 clients worldwide. Its customer base includes Limited Partners, General Partners and advisors working across sectors such as Private Equity, Private Credit, Hedge Funds, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Family Offices.
The acquisition will combine With Intelligence’s leading private capital market data and insight platform with S&P Global’s extensive analytics expertise, creating a powerful global offering for institutional investors and fund managers.
Joelson expressed its pride in supporting Charlie Kerr and the With Intelligence team on this milestone transaction. The deal marks the culmination of a 25-year working relationship between Joelson and Charlie Kerr, dating back to the founding of Pageant Media by Kerr and Co-Founder Seb Timpson. In 2021, Pageant Media rebranded as With Intelligence, and in 2023, the company secured a majority stake investment from Motive Partners.
Over the years, Joelson has provided With Intelligence with comprehensive legal support across multiple areas including mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and general corporate matters — underpinning the company’s expansion in both domestic and international markets.
