Jason Nash – one of the country’s leading professional negligence lawyers – is to take the helm of Browne Jacobson’s new professional indemnity practice in Manchester.
Jason, who joins from Berrymans Lace Mawer, is ranked as a leading expert by Legal 500 and boasts more than 30 years’ experience in defending claims against solicitors, accountants, surveyors, and construction professionals on behalf of many of the UK’s largest insurers and policyholders.
The appointment follows a period of significant and sustained growth for the firm’s Financial and Professional Risks Group which has grown by more than 60 per cent since 2018.
The Manchester office is expanding its operations following a period of sustained growth which has seen the team grow by 74 per cent since 2018.
Key strategic appointments recently have included Graham Ball as the new head of its banking and finance team in Manchester, specialist commercial contracts and IP partner, Cat Driscoll and Ragene Raithatha as a legal director in its construction team.
