It’s celebrating 300 years in business, but Boodle Hatfield has another amazing reason to cheer.

The Legal Business 100 firm, which has offices in Oxford and London, has announced revenues of £30.7 million for 2021/22, up 4 per cent on the previous year (£29.4 million).

And it’s onward and upwards for the private wealth and real estate specialists, who since 2016 have recorded an average annual revenue increase of 5.5 per cent and a 14 per cent average increase in profit. In total, this equates to a 38 per cent leap in revenue and a 113 per cent jump in profit.

Senior partner Sara Maccallum said: “Given the pandemic, it’s a fantastic achievement to have been able to realise solid growth. This really comes down to our people who have pulled together fantastically over the last few years to ensure we remain a strong firm, delivering exceptional advice to our clients.”

In the last six months, the firm has welcomed Clare Stirzaker, former head of private client at PwC and Jonathan Hyndman, property finance partner from Rosling King.

In addition, Boodle Hatfield emerged as one of five diversity champions in last year’s LB100 report, with 60 per cent female lawyers and 53 per cent of equity partners being women.
