Winckworth Sherwood has officially joined the European Law Firm (ELF) network as of 11 June, reinforcing its international capabilities and collaborative reach across Europe.
ELF is a trusted network of independent, business-focused law firms in more than 25 countries, offering clients access to top-tier legal insight, local expertise, and seamless cross-border support. This move marks a strategic step for Winckworth Sherwood in enhancing its European presence and client service offering.
The network allows just one law firm from each country to join and participate, creating stronger relationships between member firms and their lawyers.
Membership of the network will enable Winckworth Sherwood lawyers to broaden their international market knowledge and commercial skills through a joint programme of marketing and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Richard Tinham, Managing Partner at Winckworth Sherwood, said: “The demand for cross-border legal support from our clients is growing and the European Law Firm network is the perfect fit for us and our clients. Its member firms are closely aligned to our values, culture and commitment to excellence, complementing the legal services we provide in the UK.”
Christian Steden, the president of the Executive Board of the European Law Firm said: “We are delighted to welcome Winckworth Sherwood to the network. The firm is the sole UK member with a first-class reputation for high-quality legal advice across a wide range of legal expertise. The firm’s membership is a significant boost to the network, providing member firms and their clients access to the best legal advice in the UK.”
