Proskauer has promoted five lawyers in its London corporate department to partner, as part of a firmwide round of 21 new partners announced on Thursday and effective from 1 November.
The London partners are Charlotte Boylin, Dave Hill, Rachel Lowe, James May and Nick Wardle. All five sit in the corporate department.
London’s count is level with last year. In the 2025 round, announced on 1 October 2025, the firm also made up five partners in London: Matt Clift, Duncan Evans, Ian Ferguson, Joshua Jones and Olivia Short, again all in corporate.
Across the firm, the 2026 round promotes 32 lawyers: 21 to partner and 11 to senior counsel. The 2025 round also covered 32 lawyers, with 22 made partner and 10 senior counsel.
This year’s class spans eight offices and six departments. Last year’s covered 10 offices and six departments.
New York has the most new partners with eight, followed by London with five. Boston and Los Angeles have three each, and Paris and Washington, D.C. one each. Three of the new partners are in tax, two in litigation and two in employment.
Tim Mungovan, chair of Proskauer, said the class “represents the future of our Firm and the opportunities ahead”. He said its members “bring an entrepreneurial approach and an innovative mindset to their work”.
Ira Bogner, managing partner, said the class “reflects the depth of talent across Proskauer and the strength of our next generation of leaders”.
The 2025 round was described by the firm as “one of the largest promoted in the Firm’s history”.
The promotions follow a run of lateral hiring in the capital. When Martin Graham joined the London private equity transactions team from Oaktree Capital Management on 8 October 2025, the firm said that its London office had welcomed nine lateral partners over the previous 12 months.
Those partners, the firm said, broadened its capabilities across private equity, restructuring, leveraged finance, private investment funds, secondaries, litigation, tax and regulatory work.
Of the 11 new senior counsel, none is based in London. Their offices are Boston, New York, Washington, D.C., Boca Raton, Los Angeles and the national office.
