Bray & Bray has recruited an ex-bank manager to partner and jointly head the law firm’s wills, trusts and probate team alongside Andrew Hitchon.

In his new role, Russell Dalby – a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) –  will co-manage a team of eight.

Dalby will also act as a reference point on technical matters and be in charge of training and mentoring team members. His aim will be to keep on top of the latest legal developments this year.

He said: “As a partner, I look forward to expanding the profile of the team and nurturing relationships with existing and new clients. Bray & Bray has a reputation for listening closely to clients and truly understanding their needs, particularly during these challenging times, and this is something I am committed to preserving.”

Prior to joining Bray & Bray, Dalby was a senior bank manager. He decided to retrain in law in 2010. He achieved the highest grade in the Legal Practice Course, before specialising in wills, trusts and probate.

Tim Gladdle, senior partner and head of corporate and commercial law at Bray & Bray, said he was looking forward to seeing Dalby excel in his new role.
