KPMG UK, a leading professional services firm, has appointed Stuart Bedford as its new UK Head of Law. Stuart is set to join the firm from Linklaters, another UK based law firm. He previously worked for the firm as a Corporate Partner, advising on a broad range of international deals including acquisitions, joint ventures and fund structures.
A rich history in the legal industry
Stuart also spent two years as in-house counsel with BAE Systems. He also spent 18 months as a partner of Leapfrog Investments, a private equity firm focused on high growth companies.
Stuart will succeed Nick Roome, who has led KPMG’s UK law practice since 2015. Nick has now been promoted, concentrating on growing KPMG’s global legal solutions.
Stuart and Nick will take up their new roles from April 2023.
