WFW advises vendors on sale of two solar projects to Iren

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised the vendors on their sale to Iren Spa (“Iren”), via its wholly
owned subsidiary Iren Green Generation, of the authorisations and land rights for the development of two
photovoltaic plants with a total capacity of 29.9 MW.
Located in the south of Italy, the plants produce of approximately 50 GW of energy a year.
Iren is one of the largest and most dynamic multi-utility companies operating in the Italian energy sector.
The WFW Italy Energy team that advised the vendors was led by Italy Head and Partner Eugenio Tranchino,
assisted by Corporate Counsel Luca Sfrecola and Associate Giovanni Benedetto. Administrative Law Partner
Tiziana Manenti provided advice on the due diligence process.
