– Merger strengthens firm’s position in the market and increases footprint to six offices –
Birketts, a UK Top 50 law firm, has today announced its merger with Batchelors Solicitors, a leading law firm based in Kent and London.
Set to complete on 31 March 2023, the merger is the next step in Birketts’ impressive growth trajectory. Having achieved consistent year-on-year growth in the last four years, joining together with Batchelors will further expand the firm’s geographical footprint to provide legal support on a larger scale in more parts of the country.
On the announcement, Jonathan Agar, CEO Birketts, said: “We are thrilled to be welcoming the Batchelors team to the Birketts family. With shared specialisms and a business structure very similar to our own, we are confident that they will fit seamlessly, both commercially and culturally, into our full service offering.”
One sector specialism that will benefit greatly from the merger is Social Housing. Both Batchelors Solicitors and Birketts share a longstanding and deeply-rooted commitment to the sector. Combining these talented teams will strengthen the firm’s expertise and capacity in this area to create a market-leading Social Housing Team.
