The Queen appoints a new district judge for the Midlands circuit

Geraldine Mary O’Donnell (62) has been appointed a district judge by the Queen, on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed Ms O’Donnell to the Midlands circuit. She will be based at Stoke-on-Trent Combined Court from February 14.

She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1993. She was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Social Entitlement Chamber) in 2013.
