HCB Widdows Mason, a prominent law firm, has announced a meaningful collaboration with New College Worcester (NCW) to launch a charitable will writing initiative. The partnership aims to provide local residents with the chance to have their wills professionally drafted while supporting a significant cause.
As part of this scheme, HCB Widdows Mason will allocate 10 exclusive will writing appointments for NCW supporters throughout October. In return for a suggested donation of £50 for an individual will or £100 for mirrored wills, participants can benefit from professional will drafting services at no extra cost.
This initiative, “Make a Will. Make a Difference,” highlights the importance of having a legally sound will, a crucial step in protecting loved ones and ensuring your wishes are respected. It also provides a meaningful chance to reflect on the causes that matter most to you.
Esther Trevelyan, Head of Private Client Department at HCB Widdows Mason comments: “We are delighted to team up with NCW for this important campaign.
“Making a will is one of the most significant decisions you can make. It brings peace of mind and secures the future for your family. We are pleased to use our expertise to support NCW and the incredible work they do for their students.”
Appointments are limited to simple single and mirrored wills, with all consultations taking place online. Please note that there is a separate fee of £16 plus VAT per person for an ID check. Any additional legal instructions may incur extra costs, which should be confirmed with HCB Widdows Mason beforehand.
Those interested can book their appointments from now until the end of October. Your appointment may take place during October or the following month, depending on availability.
