UK law firm Freeths has advised Twenty20 Capital on the acquisition of brands including high-street names Blue Arrow, Career Teachers, Chadwick Nott, Global Medics, Medacs Healthcare, Litmus and Tate from Impellam plc.

Twenty20 Capital is the leading dedicated investor in the staffing and workforce solutions sector. They supply temporary and permanent staffing across the logistics, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, legal and education sectors.

Rebecca Watson, who led the brands under their previous owner Impellam PLC, joins the Twenty20 family as Chief Executive of RSS Global.

Tristan Ramus commented: “This is a significant milestone for Twenty20 Capital and for RSS Global, as we join forces to continue their growth into the future and to build on the heritage of some of the most well-known and well-respected brands in the staffing and workforce solutions sector.”

Freeths legal team was led by Corporate Partner Dahren Naidoo, supported by a firmwide team including corporate lawyers Charlotte Hartwright and Fiona Woodhead, commercial team Jessica Matthews and Zoe Robertson, tax lawyer Alex Angelides and banking Michelle Wilkinson and Katherine Ferrari-Bradley.

Dahren Naidoo added: “We are delighted to support the Twenty20 team on this important transaction and this further demonstrates our knowledge in this sector and our relationship with Twenty20 following on from numerous transactions in the past 24 months.

“Under the stewardship of Tristan, Rebecca and the wider team, RSS Global has a real platform for continued growth and ultimate success!”
