Time to grow: New beginnings for BloomBudd LLP

A pair of solicitors have started their own private firm having left traditional practice to do consulting.

Zoe Bloom and Hannah Budd worked together for Keystone Law and have now teamed up to create family specialist firm BloomBudd LLP.

The duo, who remain in touch with their former firm, say they hope to take key elements they’ve learned from their time there to create their own business model.

But they say they will not be introducing billing targets  or passing down costs of training to clients.

‘We want both the client and the team, to benefit from a step away from traditional models and be positive about the future,” they said.

Bloom and Budd said the remote working firm model has benefitted the profession more widely, broadening the options available to solicitors and giving them the opportunity to be independent.

Bloom specialises in family breakdowns, whilst Budd brings international and children expertise with her.

They are joined by partner Victoria Toy, who specialises in child arrangements, associate solicitors Justina de Brett and Kelly Giambrone, paralegal Jo Coleman and practice manager Toni Sargeant.
