PEXA Names New Head of Conveyancer Relationships as It Accelerates UK Growth with Full Platform Launch

PEXA, the world-leading digital property exchange platform, has announced the appointment of Rob Hosier as Head of Conveyancer Relationships following the full UK launch of its platform, which now includes Sale & Purchase alongside remortgaging.

Hosier will lead the development and expansion of PEXA’s relationships with conveyancers, drawing on his extensive industry network to demonstrate the platform’s benefits and build on the strong interest already generated by early adopter firms. Among these is Amity, which earlier this year appointed PEXA as its Third Party Managed Account (TPMA) provider, allowing it to roll out the full Sale & Purchase solution in addition to remortgage services.

Bringing over 18 years of experience in the conveyancing sector, Hosier joins PEXA from inCase, where he served as a Director from December 2017. During his tenure, he helped law firms modernise their businesses with client-focused technology, expanding inCase to handle more than 10% of all UK conveyancing transactions and enhancing efficiency across the sector. Before that, he spent 12 years as a Director at Convey Law and began his career as a Conveyancer at Loosemores Solicitors. He has also served as a Director at the UK LegalTech Association and as a Trustee at The Conveyancing Foundation for four years. His first-hand understanding of the challenges conveyancers face makes him ideally placed to drive PEXA’s engagement with the sector.

The appointment comes as PEXA builds momentum in the UK market. The launch of its full platform, adding Sale & Purchase capability to its remortgage solution, follows several significant milestones, including the approval received from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in April, which enabled PEXA to operate as an Authorised Payment Institution (API) and validated the robustness of its systems and controls.

Hosier assumes his new role immediately, reporting to Matt Joy, Chief Growth Officer.

Joe Pepper, UK CEO at PEXA, commented:
“Conveyancers are overworked, constantly at maximum capacity operating in a market of intense consumer demand. The fact is that the back-end infrastructure that supports them is not fit for purpose, and adds to their stress rather than helping them deliver the outcomes they want for their clients. As an ex-conveyancer, Rob has firsthand experience of these issues and to have him on board is testament to the fact that we’re addressing them in the right way for the UK market. His extensive expertise will further cement the building and strengthening of our relationships with conveyancers as we look to build on our momentum.”

Rob Hosier, Head of Conveyancer Relationships, added:
“I am truly passionate about reducing the stress and pressure conveyancers face. The job gets harder every year and I am joining PEXA with a shared belief that we can start to make it easier, safer and even more enjoyable to convey property. PEXA has made significant strides in improving the process for conveyancers in the UK and I want to be a part of that journey by supporting firms to experience the numerous benefits PEXA can provide. I look forward to working with the talented team to further build on their strong foundations with conveyancers, ensuring we continue to deliver unparalleled value to our clients.”
